    Hospital in central Michigan has several physician opportunities available

    Medical Center is located in central MI, 45 minutes North and West of Lansing and 60 minutes North and East of Grand Rapids. 77 bed, not for profit, rural referral center hospital. 31,000 square ft. 2 story new wing that includes a new Surgical Dept., Same day surgery dept., Laboratory and Sterile Supply. Renovation and expansion of the hospital OB Dept. and Radiology followed completion of the new wing. In 2007, the hospital opened a state-of-the art 16 bed Emergency Dept, a new freestanding Outpatient Physical Rehab Center, a new medical office building and added a fixed-MRI, 64-slice CT and PACS. The ICU/CCU is a 4-bed unit with state-of-the art color monitors and 6 step down monitored beds. Hospital has a full range of diagnostic services.

    Orthopedic Surgeon: Replace a retiring member of three. Walk into a busy practice with a built in referral base from primary care physicians in the community. The average number of patients per month is 450-500 with 20-25 new cases per week. Average number of surgeries being performed by each physician is approx. 10 per week. General schedule is two days in office, two days surgery and one day for administrative duties.
