The Lourdes Health System of Southern New Jersey, a 650 bed system, is pleased to announce our search for two orthopaedic surgeons to join our medical community.

With the pending retirement of two orthopaedic surgeons, the Lourdes Health System is seeking expertise in General Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement. Future plans include the addition of an existing ambulatory surgical center, hereby increasing operative capacity and a Musculoskeletal Center office in Cherry Hill that will be built out within the next 18 months. Eventually, the practice plan calls for four orthopaedic surgeons to be located in the Cherry Hill and Haddonfield locations with an additional four in Burlington.

The opportunity exists for academic involvement with orthopaedic resident rotation and teaching as our facility in Burlington works in conjunction with the Orthopaedic training program at UMDNJ. Lourdes has 50 primary care physicians in the Lourdes Medical Associates creating an immediate referral source for the incoming Orthopaedic Surgeon. Recently commencing practice, Dr. Sean McMillan started his Orthopaedic practice in Burlington and identified 30 operative cases within his first month of practice.

Lourdes shall tender a very competitive base salary with an RVU payor blind productivity bonus system. A comprehensive benefit package that includes all insurances and tax deferred compensation plans will also be offered to the successful candidate.

Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center is located about 5 miles from downtown Philadelphia. We serve the communities of Camden, Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Moorestown and Burlington. We enjoy excellent schools and neighborhoods, eclectic shops and locally owned restaurants, and many of Philadelphia’s athletes call our community home. The train is a 10 minute ride to the downtown hub of Philadelphia , the sports complex and all of the activities there.
