Hospital system seeks General Orthopedic Surgeon for satellite community hospital less than six years old. Ready referral base. Employed position with a 200 physician group. Base salary for two years and bonus based on RVU’s. Base in mid $400,000’s. Good anesthesia coverage, call coverage. Complicated cases can be referred back to the main hospitals. Current surgeon retiring.
Population in region 250,000-300,000. Can live in metro area and commute. Lakes and many recreational opportunities. South Bend-Notre Dame not far. Chicago and Indianapolis within a few hours drive via Interstate.

MMC is developing a Bone and Joint Center of Excellence featuring a multidisciplinary joint replacement program and needs a group of progressive orthopedic physicians willing to lead this initiative into the future.
