Help your residents prepare for the most important examination of their career. Dr. Frank J. Frassica and his carefully selected faculty guide students through the testable material they need to study to prepare for the Board Examination in this 4.5 day intensive, examination-focused review course. Course content is consistent with the organization of the ABOS Part 1 Examination, including: Basic Science and Pathology, Pediatric Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Trauma, and Orthopaedic Specialties.
This course features a pre-test to help measure knowledge, tips on test-taking to guide in developing testing strategy, informal evening sessions focusing on Anatomy Essentials and Pathology Unknowns. Participants also receive eight tutorials with test questions, a set of Basic Science lectures on CD prepared by members of the Orthopaedic Research Society, online access to self-assessment examinations, and a pathology images CD.
After-the-course extras
From the conclusion of this course to the start of the examination there are 64 days remaining, to master the materials, tips, and strategies from this course. Here are the special tools participants receive after the course to help build and retain what they’ve learned.
